RFID Inlays and Labels

An RFID Label is the complete, finished product that is ready to be applied to an item. It is essentially an RFID Inlay integrated into a standard label format. When used, the RFID label ensures efficient tagging of items.

  • Structure: An RFID label is a multi-layered construction, typically including:
    1. The RFID Inlay (chip and antenna).
    2. A Face Material (e.g., paper, polyester, or polypropylene) on which human-readable information (like barcodes, text, or graphics) can be printed.
    3. A pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back for easy attachment.
    4. A Release Liner (backing paper) that is peeled away before application.
