An RFID Label is the complete, finished product that is ready to be applied to an item. It is essentially an RFID Inlay integrated into a standard label format. When used, the RFID label ensures efficient tagging of items.
- Structure: An RFID label is a multi-layered construction, typically including:
- The RFID Inlay (chip and antenna).
- A Face Material (e.g., paper, polyester, or polypropylene) on which human-readable information (like barcodes, text, or graphics) can be printed.
- A pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back for easy attachment.
- A Release Liner (backing paper) that is peeled away before application.

The tag employs Radio-frequency Identification (RFID) technology and is affixed to the vehicle’s windscreen after the tag account is active, effectively acting as an RFID label for toll collection.
